Congratulations Mike Ishmael!

Mike Ishmael recently completed his senior recital at Kennesaw State University, and graduated from KSU's music education program. Having known him since high school, we are all very proud of him and wish him the best! He will be married to Kelly Gilbert on July 11, 2009 at St. Michael the Archangel church in Woodstock. We all hope he will find music education work locally and continue his work with Catholic Brass.

Catholic Brass will be performing next at the July 4th Mass at 8am in the prayer garden at St. Michael the Archangel church in Woodstock, GA. Please join us to celebrate our independence, and bring your own lawn chair!

 Blazer Brass Update

The Blazer brass studio at St. Catherine of Siena school in Kennesaw is well underway, with 12 students attending every Wednesday this summer until August 12th. Studio runs from 9:00am-12:30am beginning with daily Mass, and covers brass technique, scales, rhythm, and more. Classes are open to students entering grades 5-8. Contact us for more information or to join us.

If you have a used but working musical instrument you would like to donate to our band, please contact us and we will arrange for shipping. We are especially in need of concert percussion instruments, low brass, and double reed instruments.
